Colorado River Trips
The club sponsors ski trips to the Colorado River in the spring and fall. There are usually five or six trips each season -- and sometimes a special midsummer trip -- which are the most popular club activity.

To sign up to a trip, follow the instructions HERE to pay using PayPal. The sooner you pay, the better your chances of getting to go because trips are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Our river trips are usually in high demand and to be fair to all members, there has always been a river cancellation policy.

  •  > 2 weeks cancellation notice: If you cancel 2 weeks or more before the river trip date there will be $5 plus PayPal fees cancellation.
  • < 2 weeks cancellation notice, No Refund: If you cancel less than 2 weeks before your trip, you will not receive a refund for your trip unless another skier takes your spot on the trip. If another skier takes your spot, you'll be refunded minus the fees stated above.

Wait List:   When the river roster fills to capacity, your river contribution payment will automatically place you on the Wait List. If/when a spot opens on the trip, you will be moved from the wait list and onto the river roster and club cancellation policies will apply at that time. If a spot does not open up, your river trip payment will be refunded, minus fees

The trip fees are determined by the Executive Board and published annually. A member may bring a maximum of two guests as set forth in the club by-laws.

It is a good idea to call the Trip Coordinator to confirm your place on the trip. If you would like to carpool or need a ride, let the coordinator know. They will be able to give you telephone numbers for people in your relative area.
